Silent Flight
Copeland Model Club utilise some excellent coastal and inland slopes for silent flight, with several sites available along the coastline.  The background picture shows the northern slopes of St. Bees Head, looking West from the rear of the former Marchon Chemical works, with the Isle of Man just visible in the background.

A thread has been started on RCGroups, with details of flying sites, directions, parking & access information. This thread will hopefully generate some interest in our Coastal Slope Fly-in this year. Follow the link below for more info.
