Situated on the west coast of Cumbria, Copeland Model Club main site is located over half a mile from its nearest neighbours. The site has a large tarmac runway, and excellent access.

This means members enjoy flying their models without being restricted to certain hours of the day. At present, there are around 45 members, each bringing different interests and experience to the club. The club regularly meets at Moresby Social Club on the last Wednesday of each month.
